House of Culture in the village of Vykhvatintsy
The House of Culture in the village of Vykhvatintsy was built in May 1967. Various craftsmen from different regions were invited to perform the finishing work on the building. The mosaic was laid out by specialists from Odessa around 1971.
Today, a small part of the mosaic has been destroyed, but the plot of the painting is clear. A ballerina froze in a dance, a harlequin playing a musical instrument resembling either a dombra or a banjo. The panel also depicts a woman holding a violin in one hand and a theatrical mask in the other. It can be assumed that this is one of the ancient Greek muses – patrons of the arts and sciences.
